The Best Time to Hire a Professional Dog Photographer
1. The Puppy Stage
If you've ever owned a puppy, you know how great it is to look back on the images and marvel at how cute he was. Having snapshots of your puppy is nice, but having a professional dog photographer capture amazing images is another. Imagine having a photobook of images of your puppy at milestone ages. It's something you will cherish for a lifetime.
2. The Adult Stage
Some are regal and some are still pretty goofy, but these are your dog's best years. They come into themselves and settle in as a member of your family. This a perfect stage to get dog portraits done of your dog because this is the years you will likely remember them the most. 3. The Elder Stage
Believe it or not, this is the stage that I get the most calls to book a session for. Sadly, it is often for a paw parent to request an end-of-life session. I cannot tell you how many times clients say to me that they wish they hadn't waited to just get their dog at this stage. That said, it is a time in a dog's life that should be photographed. It is part of their story. The ghost while face, the bowlegged gait and the endearing patient eyes are all something that will leave your heart happy that you have photos of it all.
